Poems
May 2023
words flow out of me like a torrent of rain
they fight my way up my throat, sliding easily off my tongue, effortlessly out of me like a relentless storm of what’s been kept in too long
words flooding the cracks inside me, filling my heart with hate
my eyes raining, pouring hurt and anger and frustration down my cheeks
the endless monsoon of bottled up emotions
unforgiving
