they fight my way up my throat, sliding easily off my tongue, effortlessly out of me like a relentless storm of what’s been kept in too long

words flooding the cracks inside me, filling my heart with hate

my eyes raining, pouring hurt and anger and frustration down my cheeks

the endless monsoon of bottled up emotions
