Dear Lord, I know you love me,    
And want what is best for me:
The things that I'm in need of,
Please give me them graciously.

Your wisdom, lavish on me,

Help me to stay far from sin,
All sin, Lord, help me detest.

Lord, for all you've given me,  
Gratitude to you I give:                            
Help me to be more like you,
And show me how I should live.

Give me the strength and courage,
When I find life hard to face,
