And I feel the sharks nipping at my toes
Begging for a meal
Knowing that they have a feast

And I want to drown my sorrows
Let them play with me as they will
End my misery
Send me to my watery grave

As I feel the turbulent mist surround me
I let myself go
Knowing I will be at the mercy of the cold-hearted sea
And it will carry me with its will
And I am doomed to change the course

For the ocean knows no master
Autonomy is its confines
Never hearing the pleas of those that it consumes

And I surrender to its strength
No fight left in my soul
I feel lifted out of the sodden abyss
Again no free will
Just carried along
This time by a breeze
And the warmth of the sun

I feel the precious land
Know that I am alive
Feel the solar rays
Caressing my skin

And I open my eyes
To find that it is you
You that has saved me
You that is caressing me
You that loves me

Paradise on earth
Not just solid ground
A place for perfection
A place for devotion

It is not on a map
It is in my heart
Etched deep on its walls

Perfection, Paradise
It is in your arms
And you in mine

Forever will the ocean bend to our will
For our love is stronger than the tide
