As the sun goes down
and the eve of Christmas begins
A silence and calm comes across the world
as a soft layer of clouds hovering over the world

Traffic slows down to a snails pace across the land and world
Streets and stores become empty and activity slows down

And as the hours pass and the time to Christmas draws closer
the world takes a breath and the air becomes quiet as a peaceful stillness

Lights glisten with their holiday beauty and splendor
Trees decorated up for the holiday

Families come together for a moment of holiday joy and sharing

And for just a moment in time, the focus is on peace and goodwill and tranquility throughout the land during the Christmas quiet

So, take a moment to listen to the quiet and stillness
To the bells ringing, the snow falling
And let it fill you with peace, joy, and goodwill
