Dec 2022
Just as quickly as the night came
he stole the bolded parts
that said what fines could not
breath that was once seen
now simply steam escaping
like tendrils forgotten
As it scoured the air
Found the warmth that was you
Time was still frozen, cold
but comforting just the same
Laying with you, in the frigid air
My heartbeat, it quickened
Though time slowed, thoroughly my thoughts raced
as did the droplets on the glass
Hurry, hurry
Our love quick to sprout
from nothing, to something
It went in a stream to the sill
Not the end,
although reminiscent
