It doesn't matter about the vows
that might one day be spoken
when you tell me we'll always have this bond
that will never be broken

And though he gave you a ring
it doesn't keep you out of our bed
and you swear it's really the last time
because he wants to be 'wed

You tell me that he is enough
and that one day "I'll see"
but as long as you are keeping my body
you are still keeping some of me

I was always going to be more
than some boring basic husband
because as much as you like vanilla
you really love custard
