I'll dream of his lips tonight,
the way his skin touched mine,
I'll remember all the little things--
our fingers intertwined.

His smile is for sale right now
(has been for half the day)
though used so much for someone else
it's bound to be thrown away.

I'll dream of his lips tonight,
the softness of his cheek,
how love became a bitter taste
in just less than a week.
