Late nights will bring out the worst in me,
It brings out these versions of myself that I never wanted to be,
My hearts numbing and it hurts to think,
If I'm out, maybe pour me a drink,
It might save my soul cause I'm drowning knee deep in defeat,
Reminiscing the feeling of your uncertainty,
Cause I need to leave it all behind,
Behind this facade of my silence,
While I drown in those deceiving eyes.
