Outside tonight it's bitter cold
The rain reflects the dim fading light
This loneliness is growing old
I'm all alone on this cold night

The wind is howling and blowing fast
Trees are swaying, quite a sight
I sit here hoping this won't last
Still alone on this cold night

My heart and soul are empty
It doesn't feel quite right
There is no one here but me
Here alone on this cold night

Seems like these feelings will never leave me
I suppose it's possible someday they might
But it seems to me I'm doomed to be
Forever alone, on this cold night
