Mary Anne you're a swell friend,
For your sweetness you're treasured,
By her gentle T.L.C,
Your heart's beauty is measured.

Your heart is known for sweetness,
Lilacs as sweet wish they'd be,
But then I do not blame them,
As it's sweeter than honey.

Your heart is prized for sweetness,
As it always is in bloom:
Does my heart possess a wick,
That her heart's love makes illume?

Freesia when in  perfume,
Are not as sweet as you are,
Mary Anne, you're sure lovely,
And truly spectacular.
