Lord, give to me your wisdom
During times when my life smarts:
With a heart kind and gentle,
Show me how I'm to heal hearts.

When in life smarts I'm in need                      
During times when life is rough,        
Show me Lord how I'm to love,
In hearts help me sow enough.

Give me smarts Lord that I need,
That will make me someone wise,
So that I 'll strive for heaven
My eternal paradise.

Give me smarts, Lord, that I need,              
Light my heart with love I plead.
