we must not forget
that
all flesh is grass.
It’s better to die
having made the journey
than to stifle
one’s advancement
in the embrace
of adventure unfulfilled.
By chance (actually seeking another quotation from my book Let Us Then Rejoice (ASPEN - London 2017 ) I came across this on page 64 - and it pleased me anew.
