Four billion stars
In our Milky Way
Two million light years away from the next galaxy
Planet Earth
Is no more than a grain of sand
On the infinite beaches of eternity
As we drift
Like teardrops
Through the oceans of time
As the universe
Ebbs, and flows
Like the pulse
Of an irregular heartbeat
Forever growing
Expanding
Into a vast unknown
Humanity
Is no more
Than a small island race
Of comparatively small ambitions
We can change the world
That is all
Yet our leaders
See themselves
As gods
That in reality
Are no more
Than **** holes
In the soft ****** snow of existence
