She told me to pray
It is some kind of cure-all
At least according to some
Who suffer through whatever it is
While praising the one
They think gave it to them
Because He can take it away
If they only remember to pray
Wouldn't it be perfect
If it really worked that way?
Maybe if God was a girl
We'd get a lot more of what we're asking
Clearly we need a God
Better at multitasking
