Poisoning the hour,
Resting forever, as the second hands swing.

Stop watching me.

If silence were violent,
It'd be killing me.
A trembled sigh,
Knots the tie.

Swallowing my pride,
I shape up to the shame.

Face the day.
Erase the hate,
Tomorrow...
