I’m an obsessive, never a natural, try-hard train wreck
Hurtling myself towards guys who could care less

And every ounce of words that I said
Shifts mindlessly through the cracks of your head

You can’t change peoples minds
By the simple flip of the dime

Guessing I’m a whittled little shrivel without you
My heart is a shaking blue without the blanket of a warmer hue

That you could have been, instead
Cues of admiration flew over your head
