And I can see the blood soaked battlefield
My pruned fingers soaked from a thousand years of anxiety
Squeezed out like a sponge to rain over the landscape

But the sun's out
And the sky has never been clearer
I'm 100 years older, but still so young
I'll add another ring around my eye
And smile about today
