Hope is  what we always  need,
All the more when life is rough;
It helps us to not give up,
Hope  will give us strength enough.

It helps us to see clearly,
To do the things that we should;
And when we find life trying,
It helps us do what's good.

Hope helps us to not despair,
It helps us see life's bright side,
Much good it has to offer,
Hardened hearts it opens wide.        

Hope helps us to understand,
We have a purpose with worth;
Many lives would be worse off,
If we were not here on earth.

Hope helps keep our spirits up,
During times when we're put down;
It helps us strive for heaven,
Which is life's final touchdown.
