When I find life depressing,
Will you, Lord, then be with me?
Help me so I'm not hopeless,                    
Joy and peace bring with mercy.

Help my heart not be empty,
Instill in it, Lord your peace.
And when Lord, there I find it,
All the more have it increase.

Depression is not healthy,
Peace of mind, Lord, bring to me,
Help me, Lord, to be healthy,
How I should live help me see.

Depressed, Lord, help me not be,
Help me to be more like Thee.
