There are people everywhere
Surrounding me all over
So they claim to be my friends
But really are they?
Do they really know me?
Do they know my favorite song
Or what I love most?
Do even know this poem is about them?
So they claim to be my friends.
But do they even care?
If I was gone
Would these so called friends
Even realize I had left
Or would they go on about their days
Like I was never there
So these friends of mine
Aren't really my friends
Because the movements there bodies
And the laughter of their voices
Don't include me
