Why
I smiled as you threw my heart to the ground
I know it’s gonna **** me but,
When you want to talk I’ll still be around,
Wish I had just kept my mouth shut

I didn’t expect this to be easy
But I’d rather be bad than not good enough
To earn the love you’d give them freely,
Tell me, why they measure up

Did everything I didn’t say mean nothing?
What was I supposed to do?
Why doesn’t it matter what I can bring?
Why doesn’t it matter how much I love you?
