He was chittering,
He was chatting,
Excitement that’s contagious,
He was twittering,
He was twitching
A costume that’s outrageous,
He was jumping,
He was jogging,
I wanted just to follow,
He is planning,
He’s preparing,
In winter’s cozy hollow,
He will give a stirring lecture,
And he’ll leap across the sky,
His wisdom is conjecture,
But he’ll show you how to fly,
So if you chance to meeting,
If you’re ready for a fling,
You may just get a greeting,
From the illustrious Squirrel King.
