The sun, it has seen
The early dawn of mankind,
Who for centuries were keen
On the blazing ball in the sky.
Nowadays, artificial light casts a glow
Unfamiliar to none.
If we take a moment to bathe in the sun's splendour
We can ponder the wonder
Of how we have all seen the same sun.
