Day, After Day

I look out of my window
And i'm confronted
With a thick mist
Wondering perhaps
That ive died
And this is
Some kind of strange afterlife
I go to pinch myself
Yet decide not to
As i haven't as yet
Decided
That i want to be alive
And that in the meantime
I'll remain
In this strange
Limbo world
Somewhere between
Non-existence, to another non-existence
If i become the food of worms
Then so be it
Whichever way
I'll still be alone
Life
Is such a strange game
To play
Day, after day
After day
