Can love grow in a garden overrun,
By flowers of years long past?
Can new saplings sip nectar from under the ground,
Spoiled by romance, which fruit didn't last?
Can the river flow freely, if held by a stone?
Can the root grow deeply, if the seeds are not sown?

Time is the gardener, and heartache the *****.
One can only see growth, if one accepts change.
