Tranquility

Blood searing my veins

Cauterizing countless lacerations

My wounds seep with

The acidic taste of my life

I sit-

Unaware of my soul

Leaking out every pore

Dripping slowly away

The greedy

Cracked concrete

Drinking up my essence

Until all I am left is

Tranquility
