Untitled
The days go so slowly
but time so fast
I wish and I wonder as I make my path
I come across oddities, people from abroad
some the flowers of wisdom
others the thorns of fraud
I come across that sunshine little by little
but one step forward comes from several aback
and I end up wondering, yet again
is the mind of an elephant good or bad?
because I know what makes me happy
it's finding just that
if only we were goldfish
I'd be pleased and content
with warmth or frost
little knowledge of what else could be
but my travels continue into the dark
sorry, the dawn
as I will carry on wandering, whizzing through
but I'll settle with happy
because
The days go so slowly
but time so fast
hold it tight
as it otherwise, it just won't last.
