I ask you, Lord to help me,
When my life is filled with strife;      
Dear Lord, make my heart tranquil,
Each and every day of life.

In difficult times of life;
When I find life really rough,  
Bestow on me your mercy,                  
To me, dear Lord give enough.

I ask you, Lord, to help me,
When many trials I face;            
I ask you Lord to give me,        
So much of your needed grace.    

Help me. Lord, to do your will,
In my heart your peace instill;
My heart, Lord, up to the brim,
With your love, Lord, there do fill.

Help my heart to understand,
How to live my life for you;
When I find life burdensome,
To you, Lord, help me draw to.
