It’s been almost 2 years
Of lockdowns and isolation
Masks and very little contact
Today I saw a friend
For coffee
We talked and laughed
For hours
It was cathartic
I felt like a kid in a candy store
Wow
Like a release
It was a gift
I will always treasure
Hopefully more outings
Will come
It felt good
After so long
