I want to tell her she's pretty
In her own magical way
I've stopped wearing my heart on my sleeve
She's on my mind every day

I want to tell her she's a river in the desert
I've forgotten the words to say
That'll make her believe in me
I've never seen such grace

I've stopped dreaming of us holding hands
When she looks at me, my mind goes numb
My fingers lose feeling in that heated moment
I wish I could tell her how much I need her
