Someone like you
To have always, by my side,
Where I can be, my full self, and not have, to hide.
The little things, that people, tend to pick on,
For me, those things don’t matter, if their right, or wrong.

When I’m, not feeling, my best,
I have, someone like you
I can lean on, and lie beside you, whilst I, take a rest.

Someone like you
Your presence, makes me feel, at peace, and I automatically, just smile,
Even if, it’s just, for a short while.

Someone like you
Next to me, each day,
Thank you, just doesn’t do it, what words, can I say?

When I have, someone like you
There is, no need, to settle, for any less,
With someone, like you, around
I always, want to try/and do, my very best.

Because there is, Someone like you
Because, that someone is - you.
