Out with the riptide
Through turbulent seas
That’s where my mind goes
When I sip my tea
Always adventures
Playing out in my head
Imagination run rampant
With a thin slice of bread
Loading the teaspoon
With coarse salt and preserves
To launch at the waitress
Who by now is perturbed
Just to **** the monotony
Not to cause ruckus or fuss
And maybe put a smile
On her sour ****
