I will let you go
Even though
It hurts so much
It hurts me so

It hurts so much
It hurts me so
I am writing a clichéd poem
About being spurned
About hurting
And wanting to be stronger.

I want to write a sarcastic, angry poem
A poem to admire
That puts me in a better light
But the cliché’s, however trite
Fit my mood.
I am a walking cliché
Heartbroken, missing you, and in despair.

I wish I could write
Something memorable, and strong

But I’m not strong
It would be wrong

To pretend

The End.
