Do you ever hear the footsteps
That her tiny feet leave
Do you ever hear her weeping
For your heart she doth grieve.

It's she who stands a shadow
Human eyes cannot see
It's she that longs to be here
It's she that comes for thee.

Her hands cannot touch you
Her heart cries out in pain
For if she had one moment
Your love she'd wish to gain.

Her lips as cold as winter
You shiver as she kisses your cheek
Awaken by the sudden cold
To your love, you start to speak.

Not knowing that she's there
Tears you begin to shed
You curl into a fetal position
As she tries to caress your head.

Suddenly, almost knowing
She is right before your eyes
You scream her name while weeping
Crystal tears she starts to cry.

If only she could hold you
Let you know how much she cares
No matter what your life may bring
Her soul will always be there.

If ever you feel cold at night
It's her love that she brings
When the wind shall blow aloud
It's her love to you she sings.

When the daylight starts to fade
You'll want her there with you
Just know that she is always there
No matter what you do.

When she said forever
That was her solemn vow
Even tho her bodies gone
Her soul is with you now.

She's lost between the worlds
For she cannot seem to leave
Until she knows your heart has healed
Her heart will always grieve.

She needs to know you're happy
Your sadness keeps her in your heart
For once she knows you can go on
Her soul will forever part.

Knowing you'll never forget her
That you're love for her will remain
Now that she is not here with you
Nothing can be the same.

You'll find your way to happiness
You'll set her spirit free
In your heart, she'll understand
That's where she will always be.
