Walk all over me
you are not the first
cleanse the dirt thats on your sole
make my condition worse

I had greetings upon me once
but the welcome has been worn
the corners became blunt
the edges hold forlorn

Tread upon the surface
thats left outside the door
soil every crevice
until its purpose serves no more
