Lord, help me to be patient,              
  Rid me of anxieties;
Show me how I can please you,

At times I find life hectic,
During these times, Lord, help me;
Show me, Lord, how to calm down,
During times, when it needs be.      

Lord, help me not be anxious,
Getting others to like me;
Help me to be satisfied,
Knowing how much you love me.

Anxious, Lord, help me not be,
Help me to be more like Thee.
