Aug 2013
An unbearable haze hangs above my face,
wraps around my neck and hugs my knees.
This heat that pulses like thick blood,
suffocating and swarming around its victim.
No raw emotion brings upon this torture, no.
Only the bubbling star that awakens the world each morning.
The fiery glow that turns the eyes to darkness,
and leaves nothing but parched dehydration to loiter in your mouth.
Welcome to the desert.
Thanks Palm Springs.
