Aug 2013
how filled with child
is the bringer of ***
so tender and mild
through his flesh now reviled

freight train flutes sound a refrain:
the long fanged winds are now parted
whilst teenage lovers have started
their ritual pain

tonight carries tomorrow
under blankets of sorrow
the unyielding clouds
carry bullets of flame
raise a glass to the hunted

(in hoods of black shroud
and red ribbons of shame)
