My eyes fall
willing to you,

like a small child
finding grace.

you touch
me in the places
that long
ago have
been broken,

Places inside me
grown weary
and vacant
from hope
or salvation.

and then the sun
comes each day
within your smile,

and joy comes
with the
sound of
your angelic
voice.

and as I hear it
echo throughout
my day,

it moves me
like waves
kissing the
bottom of
the sky

like stars
flying to
elope over
this harvest
moon

tonight..
