Thoughts are caged,dreams are frightened
Cheer up my Country,we are 'Independent'.

Oh Mather, you should be proud of your children.
Their cages are changed now but not open,
The dust on their bodies have changed theirs colours
but not left their soul, they changed the name of the cause
to shed blood but didn't stop fighting.

Children are dancing in the rain,Candles are lit,
but the darkness is not ready to leave as it still
carrying some bitter taste when it exchanged some
words with the holy light.
The mournful faces are evaporating from the
increasingly hot surface of the mighty land.

Your children are effortlessly following a program
and for a moment ,they find a safe niche of trust
where they can bury their endless anger and broken
promises of disaster.
But the program blocks all the doors from where
the human apathy, philosophical entity and emotions of
holy togetherness are desperate to get out.

In this eerie hours of need,I am on my knees-
Let there be light in our dark side of the moon,
Let there be morning ragas that will erase
the last night's cruel memory.
Lets all be Independent
Yesterday India celebrated the Independence Day.
are we Independent?A tribute to my country...
