**** you, Imagination
Curse you, Daydreams

Stealing real life's luster
Feigning life is less than it seems

You've dimmed the light in my true Love's eyes
Made me doubt, question and wonder why

So loud, booming and powerful are you
At first dripping, now pouring, saturating everything that is true

Long ago I welcomed you, a friend and parnter through the pain
My Refuge, my solace, my wellspring of unyielding love

But now I've made it through and, ardent, you still remain
A plague wrapped as a gift sent down from above

So easily you lure me closer and closer to you I come
You've stained my eyes and helped me abuse my freedom

You've weaved and melded with me so
That I can't tell and I fear I may never really know

What I truly have and how brightly it gleams

**** you, Imagination
Curse you, Daydreams
