polaris

she's beautiful

like the night sky

ever blazing

always radiating.

she's insecure

though she is a star

many shine with her

she doesn't see

of all the eyes in the skies

i stand in her blaze

mesmerized by her gaze.

she's beautiful

her eyes

her smile

i love them both

though she's unaware

im in love with her so.

here i stay still

writing poetry of her

that others have wrote

trying to find

words to describe

the goddess of beauty.

as time passes

her eyes drowsy

her hair grey

she's insecure

though she does not realize

im in love with her

the same way i was

the moment i laid eyes on her.
