i will fall

if you hear me walk behind you

don't turn around

if you feel me getting closer

don't turn around

if you feel my tap

on your shoulder

don't turn around

if you do

i will fall

through the earth

to the other side

through the sky

past the twinkling lights

i will fall

through the webs

of woven dreams

and clasping hands

of fingers intertwined

i will fall

through spreading arms

and open hearts

through the earth

to the other side

through the sky

i will fall
