The first sleepover
The first of few
The closet was shut
Her apparel..clean and cut

The mattress dropped off
Where my feet and ground met
Facing the doors
Anticipating white,clean and kept

The clock ran past spring into summer
I found myself faced with the delusion
Clean and kept
Clean and kept

The faulty truths of Exodus
Surrounding her sensuality
Piling  on top of
white, clean and kept

A moth dismantled the cocoon
But what was once normal and light
Soon bloomed its colors
delayed while at flight

The doors opened
The delusion lost in a maze
The shirts behind the doors
unorderly, colorful and untamed
