When we met, God knew what I needed. The day my eyes gazed upon your beauty, my heart leaped. Our friendship blossomed day by day, me finding out you're just what I needed. The way you calm my fears and storms from this crazy life. Every moment from the day of that hug, I knew I never wanted to leave. I asked you a few days later to just say stay, but you couldn't at that time. It was still new to us the love we found in each other. Before I left I promised I'd come back. My journey took me away, my body began to fail me. Questions in mind overwhelmed me. Sickness came and almost took me. But I remembered my promise, I fought to come back.
