Dreams turn acidic
Melting away the past and present
Holding the future at an arms length
While worlds spin casually

Reality bends and shatters
Fragments become shards become specks
And fade to past memories melting away
Until all that remains is the present

One second is infinite as it bleeds
To an eternity
But ends at the exact moment the next begins
What remains is mesmerizing and immaculate

That was that moment
And this is this moment
