Blind Date

His bar stool creaks,

quaking ice rattles

as he examines his glass .

His finger swirling liquor,

compressing flavors

with ease and contentment.

He waits with great patience

and a whiskey drink.

Classy choice, I must say.

I wonder if his blind date

Will feel the same...
