Tragedy occurs, as the community mourns.
Seventeen years since the day she was born.
To understand her pain you'd need to be in her shoes.
Suffering to the point there was nothing to lose.
And everyone has mutual guilt to share,
"I should have acted, I should have been there".
To lack empathy and judge her actions just isn't fair.
You don't know that feeling of hopelessness and despair.
I learned to look at the mental struggles more profoundly,
Raise awareness to those who are suffering around me.
