Dear Moonlight 4

On a dark and stormy night The rain falls from the sky Flashes of lightning sparks across the night sky The sound of thunder echoes But your light shines the brightest I locked myself in room, overthinking Looking out the window and wondering Gazing out into the dark blue sky I see you shine In need of comfort I look for you You were there for me whenever I feel blue Dearest moon you are ever so true I want to go out to have a better view Heading out into the cold downpour Walking in the rain towards you Looking up with a smile Dear moonlight let's be together forever Me and you
