BRAVE THOUGH WEAK
When l see a weak man say what he believes,
I admire his strong will and trust in self.
He displays how man can be so brave though frail
and you love his being bold although too weak.

Christ could say the complete truth to dreadful foes,
and He knew that what He said would lead to death.
I surmise that He is Christ and can do all,
but l see the Christ in lots of His dear men.

Who can taste the sublime truth and then return
to accept what secure life can always give?
Man who knows how Jesus felt can never be
mean again to avoid fear or instant death.
